Exim Bank has been a valuable partner to Carita Jamaica Limited in their expansion of overseas markets. The two most important components have been the post shipment financing and the Credit insurance scheme. Post shipment financing has enabled the company to increase its exports to the USA and Canada without comprising its cash flow. The Credit Insurance Scheme has provided a safety network in the event that the buyer default on payment.  Exim has responded to Carita’s needs in a timely fashion which has enabled the company to exceed its revenue projections in the last financial year. The bank has also taken a proactive role in identifying expansion plans with the company and the possible solutions to implementation in 2019.
