Borrow up to the Jamaican equivalent of US$500,000 to  purchase equipment and to improve and upgrade your existing facilities.  You may also use the funds for working capital, market research and a portion may even be used for debt financing.

Flexible and Favourable Terms

Our interest rates are some of the most affordable and competitive in the market.  A moratorium on principal payment up to 12 months may be extended to facilitate easier debt servicing.

Loan Period

Maximum 5 years inclusive of 12 months moratorium on principal only, applied on an ‘as required’ basis.

Eligible Borrowers

To be eligible to access this facility, your business must earn less than $360million annually with a net worth below J$100 million.

Companies must be operating in Jamaica and be a part of the productive sector such as export ,manufacturing, tourism and related services, creative industries, professional services and the mining & extraction industries.

SME Classification

The business must be established and operating in Jamaica, and a producer of goods or services.  Eligible applicants must satisfy at least one of the following:

  • Total fixed and current assets is less than or equal to JA$300 million
  • Number of employees less than or equal to 50 persons.
  • Total Sales (annual turnover) not to exceed JA$425 million.
