Mr Lawson joined the EXIM Bank in late January 2021 and brings a wealth of experience in the banking sector to include business development, origination, structuring and strategy within the corporate, retail and investment banking space. Prior to joining, he served as Assistant General Manager and Regional Head of Sales at the National Commercial Bank and Barita Investments Limited respectively.

He holds a Masters in Banking and Finance (With Distinction) and is a Past President of the Montego Bay and Manchester Chambers of Commerce. A Past President of the Rotary Club of Mandeville, Mr Lawson has also served as Vice Chairman of the Jamaica Bauxite Institute and Chairman/Director of several local school boards.

He is a Justice of the Peace and recipient of the Honour Award for Community Service from the Manchester Cultural Development Committee of the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC). Mr Lawson is married to Camille and has two daughters.
